Success of Aqsa Week

Aqsa Week officially launched in 2017, and has since continued to grow every year. To cater to the younger audience, 2020 marked the first Aqsa Week kids with an astonishing 1000+ children in the UK getting involved, that number has now grown to more than 4000. In 2021 as online events were made popular by the pandemic, Aqsa Week received worldwide support from government departments and prominent institutions including The Department of Religious Affairs in Turkey and Malaysia, the Iraqi government and Palestinian Awqaf.

2022 was the year Aqsa Week went global with an incredible 50+ countries taking part. It was also marked in Gaza, with the oldest and largest mosque Al-Omari hosting a picture exhibition. A year later, Aqsa Week 2023 was celebrated across 5 continents.

The support for this wonderful week dedicated to Masjid Al-Aqsa has grown and stretched from South Africa to Australia; Indonesia to India; and from England across the Mediterranean countries to Canada.

Because of your enthusiasm and involvement in this wonderful week, we are seeing more and more people learn and love the blessed Masjid Al-Aqsa.

Aqsa Week 2025 begins on the 24th - 31st January. Let’s increase the success of this incredible week and unite once again to bring the love, heritage and sacredness of Masjid Al-Aqsa into the hearts of people around the world.
