AQSA WEEK

At a time when the Palestinian people are facing a genocide, Masjid Al-Aqsa serves as an important symbol of unity, heritage and resistance.
Masjid Al-Aqsa is facing an advancing takeover. Almost daily incursions desecrate the sacred site, while increasing restrictions and the imposed division of its space and time continue to erode Muslim custodianship over Al-Aqsa. Some Israeli groups also openly call for the destruction of the buildings within the Masjid Al-Aqsa.
Aqsa Week is now in its 6th year. The aim of Aqsa Week is to raise awareness of the importance of Masjid Al-Aqsa and spread love for such a blessed place.
#LoveAqsa has received recognition all over the world. From picture exhibits in Gaza to call outs from South Africa, it’s clear that the love for Al-Aqsa is global.

FOA is calling for people across the globe to organise activities and events following the theme of Al-Aqsa.

Aqsa Week Kids will also be happening in line with Aqsa Week. Videos will be released daily, educating children about the importance of Al-Aqsa. Worksheets will also be available for parents or educators.
